WEDDING OUTFIT V PART DEUX

Finally a pic of my bridesmaid dress!. I adore the Roman influence, the grey color, the flowy exterior, the soft interior and the tiny embellishments on the empire waist. I'm wearing this with these shoes.
These Steve Madden satin slingbacks have been sitting in my closet for years, unworn, brand new. I purchased them roughly four years ago on Ebay with the thought of weddings in sight. Now they're finally debuting with my black woolen dress I posted earlier. The heels on these are significantly lower than the grey ones, my feet will thank me later :).
You know the icy wind is going to sweep me off my high heeled feet when:
- I'm trying to get the bride and her dress in the car.
- I'm trying to get the bride and her dress out of the car.

You get the point. Hopefully this fake fur will suffice :).

WEDDING OUTFIT V

Unbelievable, but I'm heading towards wedding number five. Apparently, 2009 is a good year to get married!. As promised, a pic of my little black dress. It's woolen, fitted yet comfortable. I'm wearing this dress in the evening when the party & grand dinner starts. My bridesmaid dress is still at the tailor's, pics have yet to come.

As for accessories, I'm wearing these precious Chanel earrings embellished with tiny pearls. I got them for my birthday two years ago.

LAZY SATURDAY

How was your week?. Mine was filled with boring classes and fun trips with the bf. I had this chocolate chip muffin on Wednesday and it wasn't tasty at all. The jasmine tea however ( not pictured ) was delicious. I felt quite uninspired today, despite the particularly sunny weather. So I dressed up like a doctor who makes house calls. Enjoy the weekend y'all and go see 2012, it's stellar :).

BIRTHDAY GIFTS

♥ Stila solid perfume in the cutest tin can I have ever seen.
♥ A Sony Cyber-shot in hot metallic red which I've taken these pictures with. No more blurry BlackBerry pics yay, back to my old skool quality pics.

♥ Not really a b-day present but I didn't pay for them myself. Fell in love with the elasticized (remember these?) straps and the mouse grey color once they hit the stores. Of course the price tag kept me from buying, how often do you wear them right?. But with my brother's wedding in Dec. in sight I was willing to pay full price. Luckily they were 50% off when I decided to purchase them :). I'm pairing these with a woolen little black dress. More about that soon.

♥ Black boots have taken over my shoe-drobe; soft, pebbly, black leather boots with fold-over detail topped my wish list. Unfortunately, like my black bag, they're not so photogenic in my opinion. Hail to the fold over boots, just like cuff sandals, they're not for everyone to love. But I'm a firm believer :).

There's one more present left to discuss but I will do that in time :).

SUSHI BAR

Back after a short trip across the country :). I visited my family and celebrated my birthday which was yesterday on the 7th. Hip hip hooray, I received some kick ass presents like a digital camera (finally!), highly anticipated boots and more. Will post pics soon taken with my new cam yiharrrrrr.

A PINCH OF BLUE

Today I had my final (YAY!) oral surgery. My first appointment was in July and today was my follow-up for another wisdom tooth. Luckily it's a sunny Autumn day, so no biggie :). Sorry for the lack of updates but I've been busy with college and such. Guess what, my brother is getting married in December so I'm on the hunt for a new dress, any ideas?.

I'm wearing the first pair on the outfit photos, the second pair are my new babies. Simple, high, suede, flat boots :). That's how I like 'em.

BACK TO BLACK

It's a beautiful Autumn day and I'm enjoying every second of it. The bf and I usually spend the weekend visiting local shops and doing groceries. We devour fresh deep-fried cod while sitting on a bench nearby the supermercado, the little joys of our life :).

My wardrobe is kind of monochromatic, isn't it?. I love black and shades of grey, I think it goes well with a pop of color. I'm wearing these shoes by the way.

What do you think of my new suede gloves?. There's something about suede I tell you, I can't wrap my mind around it.
